Vanessa Carreira is the proud mommy of four amazing children, three of which are triplets (two girls and one boy) and a boy of four. As a wife, mommy and professional UGG boot wearer she still finds the time to exercise and keep her figure in shape.
As Adventure Boot Camp’s National Brand Ambassador she attends classes three days a week, but balancing her full-time position as mom with having personal time can be challenging. She says: “I’m a stickler for routine and so I’ve set times to exercise and I stick to them. It’s very easy to find excuses not to workout but I know that it’s important for my well being to get out for an hour and do something for myself. So every day I literally tear myself away from my kids, leaving them in very good hands, to get some me time.”
The former Miss South Africa 2001 is probably best known for her highly publicised and controversial stance during the Miss World 2002 pageant in Nigeria, when she refused to participate in order to boycott the judgement of Amina Lawal, a young woman sentenced to death by stoning for having a baby out of wedlock.
Vanessa not only lives the Adventure Boot Camp brand but she is dedicated to creating awareness of the important role health and wellness plays in our lives.
